Sending information either by email or by mail is a great way to get the client thinking you are an expert and that you know how to get them what they want.

When I started, I priced myself too low, often gave away prelim work for free, and did not change my fee when the scope changed. I did not understand my niche. I did not know how to think and act like an entrepreneur.

I now know how I want to run my business, I own my own office building (and have a rental unit), earn decent fees and get nice projects.It’s a work in progress and there is always more to do and more improvements I can make, but I am steadily working on it.
